Platform and versions

You can run MATLAB any version of windows as well as Macintosh.

Every year, two version of MATLAB comes, first in February and second version in September which are also known as a and b like i have 2015a and 2015b.Latest version is 2016a till yet.

There are two version of MATLAB which come in market, first is for student version and other is for corporate version.

In India IUCAA,Pune uses MATLAB for image and also used in MOM(mars orbiter mission).

Instillation

If you intend to run MATLAB on a PC, especically the student version, it is quite possible that you will have to install it yourself. You can easily

 accomplish this using the product key.
